Just like No. 21 needs fire and steam to keep it running, we need volunteers and support to keep our operation running. Although we're a rapidly growing organization, we still need your help. Our membership is extending throughout the lower Columbia River region and beyond. We welcome anyone who shares our interest in seeing, hearing, touching and smelling railroad history at its finest.

If you are looking for first-hand knowledge of the amazing American technology from nearly a century ago - or if you simply yearn to experience the labor and triumph of our forefathers - then this may be your chance.

ARPA needs talented people interested in all aspects of restoration, including mechanical work, historical and technical research, exhibit development, artwork and fundraising.

You don't have to be an old railroad hand or even have restoration experience. We're looking for enthusiastic people with a desire to learn, share their knowledge and skills, and join a dynamic team dedicated to preserving the magic and beauty of the railroad.
