Tender Sits in Storage

While we worked at restoring #21, her tender waited patiently for her turn in the shop. Finally in 2005 we obtained an Oregon Heritage Foundation matching fund grant to restore the tender and started to work. We consulted the original blue prints, verified dimensions with the old tank, purchased steel sheets that were cut and rolled to shape and construction of a brand new riveted water tank commenced in the spring of 2006.
