Riveting the Mudring
Saturday, August 28, 2010 by MCOnce the Riveter was strengthened we proceeded to "fill" holes. This series of photos illustrates the riveting process. Here we see the beam that we used to carry the weight of the hydraulic riveter under the boiler in order to rivet the front edge of the firebox.
